Wiz Khalifa Shows Off ‘Killer’ Jumpshot After Being Coached By NBA Trainer – HipHopDX

Wiz Khalifa has a “killer” jumpshot now that he’s been in the gym training with an NBA shooting coach.

The coach, Chris Matthews, shared video of the Taylor Gang rapper’s form in an Instagram post on Sunday (February 25) — and he kept making shot after shot.

“My shot killer now,” Wiz proudly added in the comments section of the post.

In other news, Wiz Khalifa has offered a real-time review of the new Tesla Cybertruck, noting some off-putting characteristics of the vehicle.

The “Black & Yellow” rapper noticed the car in traffic on Thursday (February 22) and offered a scathing review.

He said: “Just seen a Tesla truck in traffic. It’s a no from me. Shit trash, b! Nah, man. It look old. The shit look like it came with pre-dirt on it. I don’t know if ‘cuz needs to wash it, maybe ‘cuz needs to wash his Tesla truck because he’s not looking too good out in here in traffic. For real mayne!”

While Wiz was bumping Max B during this video, he recently shared some thoughts on another favorite of his, Vultures 1 from his comrade Ty Dolla $ign and Kanye West. The album debuted at the top spot of the Billboard 200 chart, which prompted the “Roll Up” hitmaker to cheer on his friend, who joined the Taylor Gang Entertainment crew over a decade ago and is still at the forefront of the company’s website alongside Juicy J.

“I’m super hype for Ty,” Wiz wrote on X/Twitter. “Him and Ye’s album slaps uncontrollably.”

In his own music news, Wiz Khalifa dropped a freestyle over DX Rising Star Veeze’s “Not a Drill” last month, tapping into some flows that had fans hailing the return of “Old Wiz.”

On the track, Wiz cues up some classic bars about his favorite topic: weed, spitting: “Smoke a whole pound of weed so I’m always paranoid/ Walk up on a grown man treat him like a little boy/ What I’m smokin’ on is loud, what you smoke ain’t making noise.

The song sparked a flood of enthusiastic responses comparing Wiz’s raps to his early fan-favorite material. One user commented on the rapper’s Instagram post: “Gettin some Old Wiz Vibes here,” while another said: “This reminds me of old Wiz, the auto-tune and everything. Flight School days.”

A third person added: “Prince of the city vibes on this one,” referencing his 2006 mixtape.
